A minimum of three (3) judges evaluate each website that has been submitted and complies with the guidelines including in this package. The websites will be evaluated based on the following five criteria:

Content: information provided on the site including text, music, sound, animation, or video Structure and Navigation: refers to framework of the site, organization of content, prioritization of information, and method to move through the site.
Visual Design: refers to the appearance of the site
Functionality: refers to the use of technology on the site
Interactivity: refers to the way a site allows you to be a participant, not a mere spectator.

The SHPE Website Competition winners are selected by a minimum of 3 SHPE professional members with expertise in web page design and internet. The participant's websites are evaluated against the five criteria and all voting is tabulated to ensure fairness and accuracy. Participants must submit the entry form included in this package by the deadline. Only websites with entry forms will be evaluated. The first 3 websites are selected and the winners will be notified before the NTCC 2007 conference to confirm attendance to the Award's announcement. The process is overseen by the SHPE NTCC 2007 Website Competition Chair.
